Punta de Manabique
Punta de Manabique is a protected area that separates the Amatique Bay from the Gulf of Honduras. The area covers 1,519 square kilometers (586 square miles) and extends to the Honduras border.
The area near the tip of the peninsula has clear, calm water. There is a restaurant that prepares a variety of fresh, local seafood. There is also sunken yacht that is an excellent place for snorkeling.
